Managing Director Pauline Geoghegan says the company's ethos is, people before profit, and that their ethical approach is attracting huge interest from the Third sector. Pauline says "Third sector organisations, big and small, need to be represented by a PR firm that understands their needs, and recognises the political and economic climate, in which they work. "
With a background in Community Development and local politics and a stint as Constituency Secretary To Clare Short MP for Ladywood Birmingham, she has an unusual mix of experience and skills. With a degree in English and an eclectic raft of experience dealing with the media, she makes a formidable candidate to raise the profile of the third sector.
Twenty years ago, she first cut her teeth on community politics, by orchestrating a high profile media campaign to save three secondary schools from closure in inner city Ladwood, as the Vice -Chair of Governors of Handsworth New Road school, whilst pregnant with her third son Tom. I made it my business literally she says, to get to grips with the media, and to understand the political structures that govern our lives. " It's called citizenship, and I believe in it passionately."
Later, Pauline was instrumental in the setting up of Ladywood Community Nursery, and the catalyst for Ladywood furniture Project, acting as Voluntary Director for both, and steering them into a sustainable future.
In Worcester, she co-ordinated the delivery of community based integrated sevices for Sure-Start, and co-ordinated the £500,000 capital build of a Children's Centre. Looking at her achievements to date, it's easy to believe this dynamic woman can make just about anything happen, this time for other people working for Charities, Social enterprises and any other socially minded enterprise.
