MiniKini colour
A new gentle hair colourant has just been developed that is specifically designed to bring back natural colour to greying hair ‘down under’.
According to The Office for National Statistics, the number of women over the age of 40 getting divorced has doubled to 52% compared to only 26% in 1981. For some of these over 40 ladies, the thought of re-entering the dating arena fills them with dread. Although Botox, nips and tucks, modern makeup, skilful hair dressing and colourants can be used to create the illusion of youth, greying pubic hair is one area which can’t disguise the ravages of nature.

Founder Teri Baker has been involved in the hair and beauty industry for over 20 years and explained what motivated her to develop MiniKINI. “I was first approached by a client about 15 years ago who had recently started dating and was looking for a product to disguise her greying hair downunder. At the time there was nothing available on the market which was both safe and effective. When I researched the market, I was amazed at the number of women over 40 who were affected by this problem. Some of them had been driven to try increasingly desperate means to disguise their greying hair, using marker pen, mascara and even tea bags as the hair dyes available contained ammonia which is, of course, totally unsuitable to use in this intimate and sensitive area.”
MiniKINI colour has a natural derived base, contains certified organic ingredients and is completely free from ammonia and other harmful chemicals found in normal hair colourants. It does not damage the hair, but maintains the hair’s natural moisture and protein balance and actually makes the hair feel softer.
