It was an advertisement for Diana Jones’ most recent album of that name.......Better Times will probably also come to Alexander John, a young blues singer from Gloucester who opened this gig. Great guitar playing and a tremendous voice that was so gravely it made Rod Stewart sound like an angelic choirboy. It was all played at a
frenetic pace with little change of pace or mood but, that said, you’d put money on him having a bright future.'
