The North West’s premier business to business exhibition and conference have launched an iPhone app to allow visitors to make the most of their time at the exhibition.
Business North West are using the massive popularity of iPhone apps, available to users through the AppStore, to increase awareness and improve visitor satisfaction.
Prior to the exhibition and during their visit, iPhone users can use the app and find out everything they need to know, including the location, events that are happening, timetables, exhibitors and floor plan.
By utilising the "always connected" feature of the iPhone, the app allows last minute changes to be reflected instantly on the app – a capability not possible with a printed brochure.
The conference has a large range of events including the Innovation lounge, How to seminar, Google University, Speed Networking, Angels Den and Network Café. The app allows visitors to find out information about all these events with full details, timetables and location on the floor plan.
Along with details of what is happening at the conference, the app also shows a searchable list of all exhibitors, which zooms into the location on the floor plan to easily find the exhibitors stand.
The interactive floor plan can be moved and zoomed using the touch-screen capabilities of the iPhone.
