Flooring America Connecticut Personnel Receive National Certifications

PR Log (Press Release) – Oct 21, 2009 – Staff members of the Wildman’s Flooring America store in Woodbury, Connecticut, and the Flooring America store in Prospect, Connecticut, have obtained Certificates of Excellence from Flooring America/Flooring Canada. Tom Pelletier, Middlebury resident and owner of the Wildman’s Flooring America showroom store at 670 Main Street South in Woodbury, and co-owner of the Flooring America store located at 158 Waterbury Road in Prospect, CT, received certification in March 2009 that he successfully passed Flooring America/Flooring Canada’s extensive training and testing programs.

Suzanne Munsey, a Naugatuck resident and sales associate of the Wildman’s Flooring America Woodbury store, received her Certificate of Excellence in March of 2009. Bryan Byrnes, a Plainville resident and sales associate in both the Woodbury and Prospect stores, gained his Certificate in January of 2009. In the Flooring America store in Prospect, co-owner Rob Fekete of Waterbury received his Certificate in January 2009, followed by co-owner John Leach, also of Waterbury, who received his Certificate in March. Sales associates Michele Leach of Waterbury obtained her Certificate in January, as did Robert Kulinski of Torrington.

We all are required to pass extensive training and testing programs to become Certified Sales Professionals by Flooring America, Flooring Canada. This training includes product knowledge, sales and installation training both through Flooring America’s exclusive “Online University” as well as numerous manufacturer sponsored seminars held throughout the year. Flooring America has a strong edge over competitors in the state of Connecticut because of this training and testing.”

Opened in 1988 as Wildman Carpet, current owner Tom Pelletier turned the store into a Flooring America franchise store in Woodbury in 2002 and named it Wildman’s Flooring America. Pelletier, along with John Leach and Rob Fekete, manager of the Flooring America Prospect store, are all co-owners of the Prospect showroom and store.
