Camp Bow Wow is all about the dogs, from the most pampered of our customers to those less fortunate among our furry friends.
That’s why Camp Bow Wow Kemah is will hosting a Howl-O-Ween Party to raise money for Save-A-Dane, Great Dane Rescue of Southeast Texas, an all-volunteer, non profit organization dedicated to rescuing and providing help for homeless Great Danes in the southeast Texas area.
Camp Bow Wow is holding a Howl-O-Ween Party on Wednesday, October 28 from 5-7pm with the proceeds going to the Great Dane Rescue of Southeast Texas. Prizes will be given to any pup or person dressed in costume. There will be a costume contest for the “Best Dressed Pup” and for “Dog-Owner Look-A-Like.”
“Throughout the year we try to hold several events at the camp, each benefitting a local non-profit organization. Our campers are very fortunate to have loving homes, but we also want to help those pups that haven’t had the best start in life. We recently realized the need of the Great Dane Rescue organization and chose them to benefit from our Howl-O-Ween event.” said Camp Bow Wow Owner, Jennifer Zuniga.
Great Dane Rescue is currently fostering 5 Great Danes that are awaiting heartworm treatment. The proceeds from this event will allow those dogs to get the necessary treatment.
