Tech review site CNET highly recommends Imonggo, winner of the 2009 Best POS Software Award, according to a review it released last Oct. 5 which declares the retail solution as "impressive"
Imonggo is a complete retail management solution that combines point of sale, inventory management, sales analysis and business intelligence functions into an easy and intuitive user interface. The SaaS (software as a service) program, accessed at http://www.imonggo.com, is web-based and can support an unlimited number of branches and users.
Just like APEX, which reviewed Imonggo in comparison with other available retail solutions in the market like Quickbooks POS, Microsoft POS, and Microsoft RMS. CNET affirmed the APEX award, and gave Imonggo the highest rating ever-given to a POS software featured in the site.
In the review, the CNET editors said they were quickly impressed upon using Imonggo.
"Imonggo Free POS Software provides an incredible range of control for small businesses. It tackles every aspect of retail with a streamlined program. We were quickly impressed," the review said.
The review also pointed out Imonggo's exclusive features that "converted" them into "believers."
"It impressed us at each stop. Imonggo Free POS Software's inventory was easy to populate, even allowing barcodes and product images to be collected. The Shop option worked exactly like a teller machine, letting us create invoices, collect customer info, and sell anything from our inventory.
"The Help file smartly included instructions for hooking up printers and cash registers to this program. Also, the Office settings allowed us to view sales reports and easily look at the numbers from multiple stores, assuming they all used this same program," CNET said.
In the end, the technological review site had to give its recommendation.
"This program is ideal for small retail businesses and we highly recommend it," CNET ended.
