With the Rise in Concerns about Internet Privacy, Many questions are being asked to the FTC
about the Lack of Privacy Policies on websites purporting to provide information services.
DTSales offers Privacy Policy pages on EVERY website, even their Newest : http://knowaboutthem.webs.com
Which is Article Forum / Blog , Being as the Original knowaboutthem.com was never designed with one.
So why is knowaboutthem.com and dtdetective.com so different from Intelius or their affiliates?
The differences are clearer then the Bulk writing on a Intelius' privacy page, or the Lack thereof on their Affiliate websites.
We offer you a complete Privacy Policy that you can actually read ; Intelius fills their pages so packed with "Jargon" that the average user will not read it all.
They never tell you how long they retain your information : they never tell you that after you delete your account , you can still go back months later to log in .

They do not , Apparently , require Their affiliates to conform to Fair Trade practices and consumer information safety.
Previously, an affiliate of Intelius was identified directly to DTSales for sending unsolicited emails ; the customer feared we would do such things( actually it was Intelius instructing the Affiliate to do it) :
I, Shane J. Filomena , After Assuring the Customer by Email That DTSales Nor InteliGator would send her Unsolicited Emails , that a customer's information is NEVER shared between System operators ;
I sent an email to GoDaddy.com(
I advised Go Daddy.com that the website had no Privacy Policy ( Worth $11,000 in fines ) : that website is no longer an Affiliate for Intelius and the operator was banned from the affiliate program provider.

DTSales insists that Our Website Security is checked by Third Parties, such as McAfee, safe surf ( although we have some issues with their tags not conforming to the new pages ),TrendMicro...We take every available opportunity to ensure that your Visits are safe and your Input on our sites are not intercepted.
The InteliGator FAQ ( opens a New Window ) is available on both websites.
((The code that does this New Window feature was added today, previously the page redirected the user : TrendMicro suggested that It could be a problem ,
so I took their advise and used the new code.))
You will find cancellation information, data retention information , Opt-Outs....etc.
If you opened the two privacy or terms pages side - by side, you would see how much time and effort was taken to ensure you Understood your rights ,Privacy of Information and terms of use By making the pages Clear and Readable.

Intelius Prices Vary and Often have "tacked-on" Charges. they count on the user not disputing these minor charges.
