Reactive Cinema is a new faith-based movie club based in the UK founded by online Christian movie store proprietor Ijeoma Iwoha. The purpose of Reactive Cinema is to create a venue for the screening of faith based and urban Gospel films in various cities throughout the UK and to help raise public awareness of Christian cinema by providing greater access to such films for people of all faiths.
Due to low exposure for Christian films in mainstream cinema, some people never get the opportunity to view these movies, many of which are both inspirational and entertaining for Christians and non-Christians alike. Reactive Cinema hopes to bridge this gap by offering these powerful and moving films to inspire and enlighten those who might not otherwise see them or even hear of them.
Reactive Cinema’s first movie event will be November 28 2009 at the Side Cinema, Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3JH. Showtime is 1:55pm, and ticket prices will be £6 regular price and £5.50 for students and OAP.
The first presentation will be “Fireproof”
In subsequent screenings Reactive Cinema will be presenting the following movies:
“Not Easily Broken”
“Faith Like a Potatoes”
“One Night With the King”
