•The Sahara Race is part of the 4Deserts series (along with the Atacama Crossing in Chile, the Gobi March in China and the Last Desert in Antarctica), which was named by TIME Magazine as the 2nd most difficult endurance competition on the planet.
•The race covers 155 miles / 250 km in 7 days.
•Competitors must carry all their own food, gear and clothing, and will only be provided with a ration of water.
•Ground temperatures reach 140F each day.
•Roughly 150 competitors from 30 different countries will be competing in the Sahara Race.
