October 19, 2009 - (Bay Area, CA) -- As he continues to climb the industry radar while enjoying the success of his latest album "Tear Gas," the Jacka was announced as the winner of the 2009 SF Weekly Music Awards in the Rap/Hip Hop category.

Fresh from a 13-city mini tour with Zion I, that stretched across 5 states - including California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana - the Jacka has been hard at work, delivering award winning sold out show performances to an eagerly growing fan base. Winners of the 2009 SF Weekly Music Awards were announced on October 15th, and included other accredited Bay Area artists.

As one of the most sought after rap artists today, he continues to keep the streets talking as the video to his current hit "Glamorous Lifestyle" featuring Bay Area underground legend Andre Nickatina - is now in rotation on MTV Networks, and Music Choice.

His next single "They Don't Know" features Philadelphia's own Freeway, with the video to debut soon. He's also heating up the market with multiple upcoming collaboration projects in the works including "Drought Season 2" collaboration project with Berner (Nov 17, 2009), "Neva be the Same" collaboration project with Laroo THH (January 2010), "GoBots 2" collaboration project with Lee Majors (March 2010), and "Devilz Rejects 2" collaboration with Ohio's own Ampichino (TBD).
