Inc, the largest direct seller of telecommunications services in the world, presents the NFL Alumni – Ronald McDonald House (RMH) of Charlotte Invitational Charity Golf Classic in conjunction with The National Football League Alumni (NFLA) – Carolinas Chapter, on October 20, 2009, at the Palisades Country Club in Charlotte, N.C.
Proceeds from this event will support the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, which is scheduled to open in 2010, and will serve the families of children being treated at Levin Children’s Hospital and Hemby Children’s hospital.
ACN began supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities in 2008 and raises funds for this organization throughout the year at each of their global conventions, donating to date over $400,000. In June of 2009 they contributed $124,870, in conjunction with their Independent Representatives, specifically to the Charlotte chapter. ACN’s sponsorship of this Golf Classic further strengthens their commitment to this outstanding organization.
The cost to participate in the Golf Classic is $5,000 per team (consisting of 1 NFL Alumni celebrity and 4 amateurs) and includes golf and a “Las Vegas” night party to be held on Monday, October 19, at Tega Cay Convention Center in Tega Cay, SC.

About the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte
Currently, Charlotte is the only major US city that does not have a RMH. The RMH of Charlotte is scheduled to open sometime in 2010 and will serve the families of children being treated at Levine Children’s Hospital and Hemby Children’s Hospital. Located on the 1600 block of East Morehead Street on land donated by Carolinas Medical Center, the House will feature approximately 35,000 square feet of living space complete with 28 bedrooms (one family per bedroom/suite)
