World Tourism Day
On the occasion of the World Tourism Day 2009 “Tourism Celebrating Diversity”; the Cairo Marriott Hotel received the “Award of Excellence” from the Ministry of Tourism in appreciation of the hotel’s efforts in promoting tourism in Egypt.
In his speech, H.E. Zoheir Garranah, the Minister of Tourism, elaborated that the ministry had awarded the hotels that were able to positively contribute to the Egyptian tourism by bringing in large numbers of tourists, in addition to the most renowned tourist organizations.

فى اليوم العالمى للسياحة لعام 2009 حصل فندق ماريوت القاهرة على "جائزة التميز" من وزارة السياحة تقديراً لمجهود إدارة الفندق فى تنشيط السياحة.
وقد علق السيد زهير جرانة وزير السياحة فى كلمة سيادتة أثناء الإحتفال أن الفنادق التى تم تكريمها قد أختيرت على أساس المساهمة فى تنمية وتنشيط السياحة، مستوى الفندق، جلب أكبر عدد من السائحين، ومدى التزام الفندق فى مجال المحافظة على البيئة، ونسبة الأشغال و الإنجازات فى مجال التدريب".
