This process combines the advantages of using the most current, comprehensive, and widely accepted criteria available to assess progress toward long-term improvement of organizations. The Challenge Award presented to Hutchinson Financial acknowledges the firm’s commitment to the principles outlined in award criteria: leadership; strategic planning; customer and market focus; measurement, analysis and knowledge management; human resource focus; process management; and results.
Hutchinson Financial,Inc., an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm, received its second Best of Business Award as Best Financial/Personal Investment Services Company in 2008. The award is the result of a reader survey conducted by Arkansas Business weekly business journal.
The Arkansas Institute for Performance Excellence, Inc., which runs the Governor’s Quality Award program, is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is supported through contributions, its fee structure and the time volunteers give serving as examiners for the process. It is estimated that these individuals have given more than 94,000 hours of time and talent to providing expertise on quality initiatives to the program and the state.
