Mr.Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minister of State for Commerce & Industry will be the chief guest at Kritva 2009, International Management Institute (IMI), Delhi’s Annual Management Festival.
The festival will be held on 29th October 2009 to 31st October 2009 at the institute’s Campus at B 10 Qutub Institutional Area at New Delhi.
Each event has participation from more than 200 participants
KRITVA is not only a management festival but also a celebration of the rich cultural diversity of India. Apart from Quizzer, Dumb Charades, Finance, Marketing and HR events. Events related to Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and many more will be conducted to provide an insight into the various happenings in present Business World. Kritva 2009 will provide an opportunity for students to interact with distinguished people from various fields. Besides this the students will interact amongst themselves by way of Formal & Informal interactions.
Kritva 2009 attempts to act as a platform for future managers to voice their opinions and garner their thoughts through a plethora of events including management games, paper presentations, cultural events and adventure games. The objective of the festival is to learn through interaction & apply the same to our lives.
Day 1 on 29th October 2009: A dance performance by children from Swashrit, an NGO. The day will also see the dance competition ‘Tapping Talents’ - featuring the best dance troupes from colleges all over the country, mind game called ‘coffee couple’ followed by a treasure hunt right in the early morning
DAY 2 on 30th October 2009: ‘Last Man Standing’ – The HR game where every man fights for himself in a tough battle of manipulation and with. inter college quiz ‘Kwiz Inc’ hosted by Mr.Gautam Bose of Greycells Pvt Ltd.
Children from Smile Foundation will perform followed by a painting competition for the children of Swashrit and Smile Foundation. The NGO’s will also have a stall to sell their products during the event.
The amphitheatre will play host to counter strike – The E-Cell game where participants will be given a company and asked to make business strategies. This will be followed by Fresta Fortune where the age old game of betting takes a new cool form. This will be followed by the Rock Festival on centre stage featuring one of Asia’s best band Motherjane along with Undersiege and friends from Decibel and Feedback.
An intra IMI sports meet between the 1st and 2nd year basketball, street football and table tennis teams will also be part of the festivities. The Economics events will include Operation games and Marathon Lan gaming throughout the day.
Day 3 on 31st October 2009 will be coloured in Rangmanch – the HR Nukkad Natak competition followed by E-Cell Launch pad. Ursa Taurus returns with a vengeance at Kritva ’09 taking the participants back to the seventies where floor traders ruled. This will be followed by Masquerade – The big theatre competition featuring teams from all over the country. The mega fight for pride will then make way for the country’s biggest band – Euphoria for 3 hours of scintillating music.
The event will also witness 4 more hours of a DJ night where top DJ’s from Delhi fight it out to prove their worth and one big countdown to the moment along with fireworks and fanfare. The other events which will be held at various locations at the campus will include movie quiz, marketing games, operations treasure hunts, and innumerable other events.
LAN Gaming which will take place throughout the 30th and 31st October will be open to DU Students also. DU students will also participate in Rangmanch, Masquerade,Tapping Talents, Kwiz Inc.and Treasure Hunt.
