Cass Professor Elected Strategic Management Society Fellow

Charles Baden–Fuller, Professor of Strategy at Cass Business School, London, has been elected a Fellow of the Strategic Management Society, joining 51 leading figures in strategic management research.

The organisation is unique in bringing together the worlds of reflective practice and thoughtful scholarship. The Society consists of several thousand members representing a kaleidoscope of backgrounds and perspectives from more than fifty different countries.

Membership, composed of academics, business practitioners, and consultants, focuses on the development and dissemination of insights on the strategic management process, as well as on fostering contacts and interchange around the world.

Professor Baden-Fuller was the only fellow to be elected outside of the US this year.

Professor Baden-Fuller says: "I am delighted to be elected to this Society. It is a great honour to be recognised as one of the leading contributors of thinking in strategic management. The honour also brings further credit to my colleagues at Cass (http://www.cass.city.ac.uk/) who have been ranked by the Financial Times as one of the world’s top ten business schools for corporate strategy. They have also helped me over the last 11 years to help me run the prestigious Long Range Planning, one of the oldest journals in management bridging both academia and practice."
