By: Marketing Contacts The overall mission of the NPIA is to improve the quality of policing provided to the public through services such as the Police National Computer, DNA Database and Serious Crime Analysis. Each of the NPIA departments has a direct impact and importance on the services of policing as a whole. Peter Neyroud, CEO of NPIA commented “The Learning at Work day activities gave staff a new insight into their own organisation, helping them to understand what the NPIA actually does, whilst showing how their own contribution impacts on both the organisation and the outside world.” As a result of the success of their Learning at Work Day events, NPIA have decided to continue the good work by rolling out a regular programme of Meet the Police events for staff. Tricia Hartley, Chief Executive of the Campaign for Learning said, ‘We were very impressed with the high standard of entries for this year’s awards and what comes through very clearly is the energy, creativity and passion of Learning at Work Day organisers around the country. We would like to congratulate the National Policing Improvement Agency - their achievements will have long lasting benefits for their organisation and employees. We would also like to thank Investors in People, this year’s award sponsors, for their valued support.
