Denver, Colo.  -- The Colorado chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants offers a case study presentation and discussion featuring Jeff Amen, Principal of ATBS on Friday, November 13 at the Denver Athletic Club, 1325 Glenarm Place. The meeting runs from 7-9am and is open to the public. The Program is entitled, “ATBS Case Study:  Analyzing and Building Business Performance.”  ATBS provides business solutions to independent business owners in the trucking, real estate, health care, and beauty industries.  Jeff Amen and his brothers Todd and Matt worked in their father’s Denver-based trucking company, Trans-Western Express (TWX) from the time they were teenagers until it was sold in 1998. Then in 1998, they co-founded ATBS which provides business services and consulting support for about 100 major trucking firms and over 40,000 independent contractors. The business model includes proprietary software, an infrastructure, and management team to service several industries.

Learning Objectives.  Attendees will take away a new approach to analyzing and optimizing business performance.  They will learn how to:

•   Develop tailored solutions to industry-wide challenges
•   Help companies exceed their expectations in multiple, measurable dimensions

Jeff Amen, Principal, ATBS.  Mr. Amen spent much of his career in the trucking industry with experience in virtually every function of a major truckline. In the early 90’s, Mr. Amen became co-president of Trans-Western Express, LTD. (TWX) with involvement in the management of the entire company. He was specifically responsible for Operations, Safety, Sales and Marketing. The truckline was successfully sold in 1998 at which point Mr. Amen remained in his leadership position, running the business for the purchasing company.  In 2001, Mr. Amen joined ATBS initially focusing on sales, rapidly growing the client base and contributing to the management of the entire organization.
