Parents that submit a $500 deposit toward summer enrollment prior to May 1, 2010 will qualify for a $300 reduction in tuition and enjoy the benefit of a fully refundable deposit should they cancel by May 1, 2010. An additional incentive offered to all campers is an “Accountability Rebate.” Campers who continue weekly weigh-ins for 20 consecutive weeks after camp ends and email the camp director their results will be awarded an additional $300 bonus for the 6-week program or a $150 bonus for the 3-week program. These incentives are available to both new and returning campers.
“We teach our campers the skills necessary to make the best choices for their future,” said Ira Green, Camp Director for the Healthy Children Foundation’s Camp Shining Stars. “When it comes to choosing a camp we want to make the parents’ choice easy through no tuition increases, launching a reduced early enrollment rate and awarding responsible campers for their post-camp diligence.”
2010 enrollment incentives are being announced in 2009 to allow ample time for registrations as Camp Shining Stars boasts a rare, close-knit smaller camp on 65 acres that fosters a nurturing and private environment.
