Two vacation destinations, located at the northern entrance to Yellowstone National Park, have teamed with a local dog sledding company to offer guests an adventure they’ll never forget. The eco-friendly Bear Lair Lodge and Sunny Slope Lodges, both located outside Gardiner, Mt., have joined with Jason Matthews, owner of Yellowstone Dog Sled Adventures.  Participants have the chance to see elk, moose, deer, wolves, coyotes and even bison with Matthews and his team of amazing dogs. With no mechanical noise bouncing off trees, only the rhythmic padding of the Alaskan huskies, riders can enjoy the majestic views in snowy, quiet splendor.Guests can also luxuriate in a natural hot spring soak or get a good workout with a cross-country ski or snowshoe hike and come home to a comfortable, cozy cabin nestled in the Absaroka National Forest. “Our goal is for each guest to have the best possible experience in Yellowstone and they can pick from a myriad of adventures to fit their groups needs and desires,” said lodge owner Lisa Coleman. For more information on dog sled excursions and other winter packages, contact the lodge at (406) 223-7939 or visit the websites at www.yellowstonevacationrental.net or www.yellowstonedogsledadventures.com .
