CharterX and Computing Technologies for Aviation (CTA) are pleased to announce the launch of FlightPortal with FOSLink. This online service lets FOS flight departments and charter operators offer customers, owners and crewmembers immediate access to current and future flight activity through a password-protected portal on their own websites or intranet.  FlightPortal with FOSLink is designed to improve online customer service and crew communication quickly and easily, without the need for expensive and time-consuming custom website development.

Flight Operating System (FOS) from CTA is the leading flight and operations management system for major corporate flight departments and air charter carriers.  FlightPortal provides web-based, anywhere, anytime interaction with charter and corporate flyers, aircraft crews, owners and managers. Charter and corporate aircraft customers can securely log in, obtain current travel and ground service plans, print trip sheets, and make requests for future flights.  Pilots can view current trip assignments, obtain trip sheets, and log flights and expenses.  Aircraft owners and managers can administer current and future travel itineraries, as well as review aircraft utilization and planning.

FlightPortal with FOSLink delivers the customer, owner and crew information maintained in FOS databases to websites and intranets quickly and easily.  This hosted online access system meets the strictest security standards and is flexibly designed to meet the varying requirements of large and small corporate flight departments, as well as commercial charter operations.

“Providing the highest level of service and support to our charter clients and aircraft owners is of primary importance,” says Andrew Richmond, President of TWC Aviation. “This technology supports our commitment to safety and personalized service. Instantaneous and accessible flight information is one element which sets us apart.”

Jason Vanis, Managing Partner of Aviation Integration gives FlightPortal with FOSLink a thumbs up, saying “CharterX and CTA have developed an amazing product that FOS users want and need; an integration that gives clients, owners, and crews access to the information crucial to them, while bringing a tremendously efficient communications tool to the flight operation.  We are extremely excited to have this offering in our solutions toolkit.”

Fred Powell Sr., President of CTA said, “CharterX has developed a highly relevant, business-focused online service that can bring tremendous value to our common clients. FOS customers can now quickly, easily and cost-effectively deploy FOS-based online services, without the need for custom development or expensive IT deployments.”

“We are very pleased to introduce FlightPortal with FOSLink. It has been an ongoing pleasure to work with CTA, the industry’s leading developer of flight management software,” said Jim Betlyon, President of CharterX Wyvern.  “This latest joint development effort builds upon both CharterX and CTA’s track record for delivering technology solutions that help our customers conduct business more efficiently while delivering excellent customer service to their travelers.”

FOSLink is now available to CTA customers wishing to extend their FOS data to their websites.
Those CTA customers interested in a demo of FOSLink should stop by the NBAA booth of CTA (#1275) or CharterX (#3831) for a demonstration of FlightPortal.
