Lunchtime Deal To Crack The Credit Crunch

HUNGRY city centre workers and shoppers now have the option to dine out in style at lunchtime without denting their wallets.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct 19, 2009 -
HUNGRY city centre workers and shoppers now have the option to dine out in style at lunchtime without denting their wallets.

An historic city centre venue has designed a recession-busting lunchtime deal to help hard-up workers tackle the credit crunch.

The two meals for £8.50 deal is the brainchild of Dylan Thomas Centre head chef Gabrielle Caruso.

Some of the meal options include dishes such as Welsh rarebit, homemade beef burgers, breaded plaice, cauliflower gratin and cockle and bacon gratin.

Swansea Council runs the Dylan Thomas Centre.

Jonathan Player, Dylan Thomas Centre Manager, said: "We thought it would benefit city centre workers and shoppers to come up with a value for money meal deal at a time when many people are struggling in the current economic climate.

"The price means people won't have to raid their piggy banks and the option to order in advance will suit workers who don't have much time during their lunch breaks."

The offer runs until Saturday November 21 and is available from 12noon until 2pm on Tuesdays to Saturday.
