No longer must you limit your sense of style to your clothes - now you can bring your passion for fashion to how your internet looks as well.
Google today unveiled a set of themes or 'skins' for its Google Chrome web browser, which will enable people to customise the way their browser looks as they surf the web.
British fashion designers Vivienne Westwood, Matthew Williamson and Mulberry are all helping to make the web more glamorous, alongside international names including Dolce & Gabbana, Oscar de la Renta, Donna Karan and Anna Sui.
Google teamed up with artists, architects, musicians, illustrators, filmmakers and fashion and interior designers from around the globe to produce a set of more than 100 unique themes for internet users to choose from.
"A bit like painting your nails to match your outfit, or changing your make-up to reflect the occasion, we've found that people like to customise their technology too," said Kate Hammond, Product Marketing Manager at Google. "With people spending ever more time on the web, these designer themes bring a little more style to your internet experience"
Google launched its web browser, Chrome, in September 2009. The open source browser was built to provide a great web experience for users around the world by offering a faster, more stable and secure browser designed to handle the modern internet.
