The innkeepers of Posada de Rosas and owners of Amazing Mendoza Tours are North Americans Ellen Hoffman and Riccardo Accurso. Both have lived for extended periods in Spain and are fluent in Spanish. Riccardo is a jewelry designer and maker and Ellen is a free-lance writer who has served as a cultural guide for trips to Spain sponsored by the U.S. Smithsonian Institution and National Trust for Historic Preservation.
The Posada has five rooms—two in the main house and three studios with kitchenettes located a few steps across the patio, alongside the garden and pool. Rooms in the house cost $100 U.S. per night and studios, $125.00 per night, with some seasonal variations. Rates include Continental breakfast. The Posada also offers custom packages that include lodging, tours and activities such as cooking classes.
