Each year Jarvis & MacKenzie makes a conscious effort to support local charities and organizations that are most important to their employees and their families.
Over the years Jarvis & MacKenzie has donated to over forty different charities, all must be nominated by J & M employees in order to be eligible to receive funding. “Social responsibility is key to our corporate culture at J & M .” says Michael Roach, President. “We are thrilled to again be able to support those less fortunate than us and we take great comfort in knowing that many will benefit from the generosity of Jarvis & MacKenzie’s team”.
In 2009, Jarvis & MacKenzie will donate over S$700,000 to organizations and causes such as, Heart and Hand For The Handicapped, Community Aid For Retarded Children , Alzheimer Society, Cancer Action and the Blind Care Foundation
Ted Madden, Chairman of Blind Care Foundation, said: “Support from companies like Jarvis & MacKenzie is important to us, as we rely almost entirely on fundraising to care for our children and families. There is an overwhelming need for new centres everywhere and we are delighted that the staff at Jarvis & MacKenzie have taken our charity to their hearts and will be working with us in a fantastic year of fundraising. Thank you to everyone at Jarvis & MacKenzie for choosing Blind Care Foundation and helping us to improve the lives of the visually impaired.”
