Did you know the average consumer spends about 56.00 on Halloween costumes, candy and household holiday decorations in Sept. and Oct. Do you have a pumpkin and carving kit? Have you picked up your Halloween costume yet? How about a disguise for your kids? Then there is the Halloween treats we all hand out to those costumed trick or treaters. Okay...so how do you find Cheap Costume Ideas?
You can find bargains on all these holiday products. Check out the different online costume catalogs and compare the prices. Be sure to always, always, check the clearance section of each costume catalog. I was online just yesterday checking costume prices and seeing what holiday items were on sale, and I was very surprised at some of the great costumes that are marked for sale with clearance prices. Costumes I would consider popular were marked down.
Renaissance maidens, Lady Pirates, Gothic Fairies, Vampires, or classic Disney Adult Halloween costumes like Cinderella...are on sale, and some at amazing savings. There's a Queen Elizabeth costume, for those who like historic costumes, with a retail value of 94.99 marked on clearance sale for 39.99. It's such a beautiful costume! You can also find more modern characters like a flapper, a 1950s poodle skirt or how about Elvis or Uncle Sam for the guys. I'm telling you, there are some great kids and adult costume ideas to be found in the clearance sections of your online Halloween catalogs.
You can also save your self some more Halloween holiday money by buying your products in bulk. Buy a case of candy bars instead of one buying one bar at a time...and to do that you have to hit one of your local wholesale buying clubs like BJ's or Sams.
You can always make your own costume, there are plenty of fun and easy homemade costume ideas to be found online and you can use old costumes you have saved from other Halloweens. Just add a scarf, or a different wig...something simple to create a new costume look out of an old Halloween costume. Or you can buy a new one...with prices beginning at a few dollars you are sure to find a Halloween costume in your price range.
