Free Alternative Energy Workshop in Northeastern Pennsylvania - Wind Energy Basics

PR Log (Press Release) – Oct 17, 2009 – Green Field Energy Solutions is offering a series of Free Workshops related to alternative energy sources in Northeastern Pennsylvania.  The initial series of course are Wind Basics and Wind Energy 101. Green Field Energy Solutions has announced a Free Wind Energy Workshop to help individuals and businesses “Get Off The Grid™.” Wind Basics 101 Workshops will help you learn how to use the wind to generate clean green electricity for your home or business.  It is an uncertain time as we await the final announcement of the utility deregulations and the effects of the predicted skyrocketing energy costs.  The preliminary data indicates that utility rates may increase by 25 to 30 %. Green Field Energy Solutions has collaborated with Pocono Northeast Resource Conservation & Development Council and other local partners to make these courses available for free to the public.

Green Field Energy Solutions offers renewable energy solutions for clients to become more energy efficient in their home or business utilizing wind turbines to maximize their ability to “Get Off The Grid.  The Wind Workshops are ideal for all residential customers and business owners who want to learn more about wind and solar technology and the considerations for such applications.  

It is an exciting time to invest into alternative energy.  The federal government is offering some very attractive incentives to include a 30% tax credit, 50% immediate write off for businesses, and energy production credits for businesses that invest into alternative energy.

The first workshop will be offered on October 21, 2009, 6:00-7:00pm at Greenfield Municipal Building, Rt 106 Greenfield Township and November 10, 2009, 6:00-7:00PM at Lenoxville Township Hall, Rt 374, West Clifford, PA.
