Professional Fitness Institute celebrity spokesman Jay Cutler accomplished more than one impressive feat in winning the 2009 Mr. Olympia title. Cutler won the bodybuilding championship for the third time in his career on Sept. 26 in Las Vegas, Nev., becoming only the third Mr. Olympia in the history of the competition to reclaim the title, and the only Mr. Olympia in history to reclaim the title after losing it. Cutler has the 2006, 2007, and 2009 Mr. Olympia titles.
Returning on stage and defeating the reigning champion Dexter Jackson, Cutler joined Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lee Haney in retaining the title that is considered the highest accolade in professional bodybuilding.
Cutler hopes to continue to use his title to promote the fitness industry and the mission of PCI’s “Professional Fitness Institute” Personal Trainer program.
“Personal fitness training is in huge demand and is expanding both as an educational option and a career choice,” Cutler said. “I hope that as Mr. Olympia I can continue to bring some added attention to this important cause and the quality training provided by PCI.”
Through a partnership with Professional Fitness Institute, Pinnacle Career Institute offers a landmark 18-month Personal Trainer program that features a one-of-a-kind fitness Boot Camp. The courses equip students with the skills needed to help clients reach their personal fitness goals. Students learn the science behind fitness and wellness through classes in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, exercise psychology, sports nutrition, exercise techniques and more. The program concludes with a week-long Boot Camp in Las Vegas where students put their new skills to work and experience personalized instruction from Cutler and other top professional trainers.
