We are able to print linear barcodes, code 39, and code 128, interleaf 2 of 5, EAN 13 and others; we can also print 2d codes (data matrix - ECC 200), PDF 417 and Maxi codes. (Others available on request).
Linear barcodes are well known and used extensively for carrying numeric and alpha numeric data strings for identifying a variety of products, data matrix codes are used when there is a limited space for the variable information. Error correction codes are added to increase symbol strength: even if they are partially damaged, they can still be read. Applications for data matrix codes are electronic components (especially military and avionic) and sample tubes used within analytical laboratories.
Thermal Transfer printed labels can be supplied using any of any materials and adhesive combinations - Polyester, Vinyl and Paper, (for a complete list please contacts us). We are also able to add colour coding to all labels thus offering an extra unique identifier to differentiate between component batch or sample group. In medical labelling this could be used to identify blood, Urine or tissue samples.
