When it launches Honda Activa in the year 2001, it saw a superb success in the Indian scooter market. A few months back, its upgraded version was launched. It is now available in two variants- Honda Activa Standard and Honda Activa Deluxe. In the new version, front to rear, several appealing changes are made with increased power.
Face gets new look:
If talked about changes, front and rear parts have been added some style and flesh. This time curves and shapes seem much sexy. Mask of the scooter is more aggressive now and is in very rectangular shape. Clear turn indicators are fitted at the both end of the headlamp. Rear view mirrors are erected at the mask. Right behind the mask, there is a wide dashboard.
Wide dashboard:
As a general practice, wide blacklit console is provided in the Honda Activa. The dashboard comprises of speedometer, fuel gauge and low oil indicator. The console comes in agalouge format. Below the dashboard an inner storage box is given.
Family cum loading scooter!:
Honda Activa is proved the best family scooter as it allows both the gender to ride it and provide space for children and small luggage. This is the only scooter that suits to man, woman and old ones. There are two storage spaces in the machine. First, you can keep your bags, bottoles etc in the inner box fitted below the handle. Another storage space is there under the rear seat. This is bigger than the front one. Helmet and other items can be easily kept here. It also saves your money for helmet lock.
New Tail:
New Honda Activa has a new style tail side. It got ABS plastic parts now that make the scooter lightweight. Activa monogram is the only graphic on the rear side of the machine.
The tail lamp comes with clear lens along with integrated clear lens indicators. This time the rear grab rail is in fibre and uplifted as against to the Honda Activa. It comes with a convenient lift-up independent engine cover, this makes routine maintenance fast and hassle free.
Smart Braking system:
Honda Activa is smart enough on braking system. However, it houses conventional drum brakes at both the tyres. But these brakes are enough to control a baby like this.More
