In a recent interview one fan of the GHD hair straightener explained just why she favours these high tech hair tools over others on the market.
When hair straighteners first became a main stream hair styling tool some years ago, consumers were left with a choice of large, clumsy looking models, many of which did nothing special for anyone that didn’t already have relatively straight hair. For those with thick, curly hair the results were not brilliant, and many therefore saw no benefit from having a set of straightening irons as part of their hair styling kit.
However, over recent years a new wave of hair straightening models have hit the markets, and these have all the bells and whistles, such as steam features, fins for added straightening power, ceramic plates for perfection and protection, and sleek, high tech designs, not to mention a range of colours and accessories. Even those with thick, curly hair can now enjoy achieving sleek, straight hair with some of the high tech models around.
Amongst the most popular high tech hair straightening models and makes is the GHD hair straightener, and this is a model that has become popular with both industry professionals, such as stylists, and with consumers. Although they are more expensive than most other models, many consumers have said that they would rather pay the higher price and get great results than compromise on the end result for the sake of twenty or thirty pounds.
One fan of the GHD straightener, Hannah Geach, recently said: “I used to work at a hair salon, and that’s where I first came across the GHD model. People that came in always went away happy after having their hair straightened with these. I have very curly hair naturally, so I invested in a set myself when I left, and quite honestly I wouldn’t use any other model now. These always give me the best results and a great finish.”
