About the Author:
Katrina Covington Whitmore has worked in broadcasting and communications since her college years at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and she holds a Ph.D. in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Inspired by the true story of Zenobia of Palmyra, Katrina spent several years creating Zenobia's cousin, Lady Kiah, and the "Bride of the Desert" trilogy was born.
