Why?  The roofing industry has an infamous history of shady roofing operators chasing storms, taking deposits and doing poor work - or worse, no work at all.  The home owner is stuck however as the storm chasing roofing company moves on to the next storm, often under a different name - leaving the wreckage behind.

With winter just around the corner homeowners will be anxious to get the work done now.  That is smart...but also be smart about who you choose.  Demand that you work only with a local roofing contractor with a strong history of good work.
