Euphoria Smoothies, a similar quick-service concept, wants to put the squeeze on its competition, with 100 stores planned for Canada in the next 4 years. That's the commitment of Garvin Cole, Euphoria’s Director of Sales and Operations. The chain has stores in Barrie, Orangeville, Orillia, New Liskeard, North Bay, Sudbury, White Rock, Lacombe, and Calgary. The average investment for licensees is $85,000, he said, for stores of 800 to 1,200 square feet with zero franchise royalty fees or monthly co-op advertising fees.
