The date selected was Tuesday October 20th and the place is right down the road from the famous Opryland Hotel. When Dale Pinnekamp, VP of Programs for the APICS Chapter, asked BRS to present this past June, the President and RFID expert Paul Reed was felt extremely privileged.
The APICS Chapter, a group of local Business Professionals involved in the fields like Engineering, have select criteria for their speakers. Thus, BRS was proud to meet their criteria yet again, since they also spoke at the Jackson and Nashville APICS Chapter a few years back.
For this year’s event, BRS has an interesting sequence of events lined up for the chapter members. Not only will RFID expert Paul Reed touch on advancements, and limitation of RFID, but he’ll also present a real closed loop success story for an “out of the box” solution involving RFID. Then Reed will wow the crowd with fascinating demonstrations.
With a box full of UHF (Ultra High Frequency Tags), two Motorola Reader (one handheld and one mounted), as well as two Unitech Readers; BRS plans to fully demonstrate the capabilities of RFID. Reed and the BRS team will show exactly how to use RFID, how easily it functions, but most importantly, they’ll show why this technology catches everyone’s attention.
