Taking the Mystery Out of Leadership post Global Financial Crisis

Condon draws on her over fifteen years experience with clients such as Blue chip Insurance Companies, Market leaders in Retail and Telecommunications within the Australian and Global market place.

According to Condon, most leaders today are ill prepared to break beyond brute-force personal effort to win and keep business because they have only been trained in skills and competencies that are simply inadequate to deal with the raging complexities of the 21st century or the business world post the financial global crisis.
In “Taking the Mystery out of Leadership” Condon discusses how today threats and opportunities of new technologies, demands for social responsibility, challenges of sustainability and shifting values of employees and consumers have changed the requirements of effective leadership. She states, “Business-as-usual is simply unsustainable and many great organizations are suffering. Genuine leadership vs micro management  is required to re engage a workforce that has been maintained based on fear rather than clear leadership and staff engagement.
In the  one-day workshop Condon challenges leaders with a new leadership paradigm based on understanding leadership behaviours required post the Global Financial Crisis.

Condon states, “Today there is an unprecedented opportunity for organizations to break away from their competitors and create new value, new products and new customers. But it won’t come by trying harder using the same thinking that’s brought us here. What’s needed is taking away the mystery of what constitutes true leadership behaviours.”
