US Premiere of Canadian Film A Touch of Grey

Schlepping Nachos Productions is pleased to announce that its US debut feature film, A TOUCH OF GREY will screen at La Femme Film Festival in West Hollywood on Friday, October 16, 2009. A Touch of Grey wowed a sold out audience at its Canada premiere in September and hopes to do the same in the US. This emotionally charged and gripping feature film follows four middle-aged women who gather for what begins as an innocent re-union, but ends up completely different.

First time Writer/Producer/Director Sandra Feldman not only privately financed A TOUCH OF GREY, but also shot it in only eight days with a predominately first time crew.  And this is all the more remarkable given that Sandra maintained her day job as a Doctor of Family Medicine, while also working as a film and television stuntwoman (Mean Girls), martial arts instructor and still finding the time to be a mother to four children!
Remarks Writer/Producer/Director Sandra Feldman, “Being a complete novice to filmmaking, I decided to read pretty much every book made on the subject and after attending a filmmaking seminar, I decided it was time to take my long gestating passion project to the big screen. So in a little over a year, the script that had been sitting on my shelf for five years, A TOUCH OF GREY is now complete, and will finally have an audience at the celebrated LA Femme Festival.
A TOUCH OF GREY stars Maria del Mar ("24"), Kirsten Bishopric (The West Wing), Katya Gardner (The X-Files) and Angela Asher (Degrassi: The Next Generation). It is a coming of middle-age drama – honest, poignant and often funny – about four high school girlfriends reuniting after 25 years. It is a soul-searching journey that forces each to explore and confront her individual issues, while asking, "Is that all there is?"
