Terrys Fabrics have let neither the economic climate nor their leading position prevent them from continuing to expand their presence on the web. Specialising in fabrics and homeware products, Terrys have just made an announcement that declares the launch of three new sites as part of their group with the expectation that their sub-brand will generate further traffic, enquiries and sales through Terrys Fabrics.
Blinds, curtains and poles are the specialist niches the new entities have embraced. Terrys’ expertise has allowed this development, strategically planned over the last twelve months, to create websites for familiar territory. Doubtless this experience will feed into Terrys longer term strategic plans and there is the possibility of a conglomeration of sites to support the central core once these satellites have proven their value and gained experience and expertise of their own in the online market place.
Terrys are looking forward to making good progress with the first launch taking place in October 2009 and the other two sites to follow shortly afterwards. Once Halloween and half term have gone by the Christmas market is immediately underway, so the timing of the launch should bring immediate returns as this sales period is one of the major dates for the interior design industry to rack up numbers.
Terrys Fabrics are not sitting on their laurels though and with a hard business eye see the Christmas 2010 sales period as the more likely date for reaping the rewards of their hard work and the spin offs from the new additional sites.
