Terrys Fabrics have just announced their online expansion with the launch of three further fabrics/homewares websites to encourage online sales. These new group sites expect to generate a sub-brand to support the healthy growth in sales that Terrys Fabrics has seen over the last year on its website.
The new websites will aim for particular homeware favourites, starting with Blinds, Curtains and Curtain poles as short term targets. However, in the longer-term, there is the possibility of a large network of sites being developed to support the core site as a realistic view to the future and the direction Terrys Fabrics wishes to take.
October 2009 is the date for their first site launch, with another two sites to launch soon after. Following considerable planning and with a mind to good timing, Terrys Fabrics anticipates capturing some of the traditional festive traffic that homewares and interior design industry enjoy in the run up to Christmas.
Realistically though, Terrys is looking to Christmas 2010 for the company to realise dividends from the additional sites, by which time the online marketing channels should have had a chance to mature and the conversions to sales from their customers should be high.
