Charleston Animal Society Holds 25th Annual Paws in the Park & Walk For the Animals
October 24, 2009, 10-3pm, Felix Davis Community Center, Park Circle, North Charleston, S.C.
The Charleston Animal Society invites you and your leashed pet to take part in their 25th Annual Paws in the Park & Walk for the Animals at Felix Davis Community Center, Park Circle North Charleston. Registration for the walk begins at 9am and the walk begins at 10am. Walkers raise donations individually or by forming a team. All proceeds benefit the humane programs of the Charleston Animal Society. Visit www.pawsinthepark.kintera.org to form a team, register for the event and to donate. Registration for the Walk for the Animals begins at 9am. Walk begins at 10am and games and events run from 11am-3pm.
Walkers who raise $25 help provide vaccinations for 2 dogs and cats and prepare them for adoption.
Walkers who raise $50 help to support our “Animal Enrichment program” which makes the time the animals spend with us more enjoyable.
Walkers who raise $100 will help to spay or neuter two animals at our high quality-high volume spay/neuter clinic.
Walkers who raise $200 for the animals at CAS, help provide funding for programs like our “Pet Buddies” Humane Education program which reaches out to students helping them to be good stewards of the animals.
Join us on Saturday October 24th for games and fun for you and your pet. prizes and awards will be given for first, second and third place for all contests.
