Contextware Registers 500th Subscriber for Emergency Response and After-Action Review (AAR) Guide

The guide provides health officials with a superior method for capturing and delivering standard operating procedures to first responders and other emergency personnel.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Oct 13, 2009 – MCLEAN, VA – Contextware, Inc., provider of software solutions that improve organization performance and productivity, today announced that its all web version of the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) Emergency Response Guide which also includes an After-Action Review “how-to” guide has reached a milestone 500th subscriber. Originally released in January 2009 to the public health community, the guide takes existing CDC information and repurposes it into a step-by-step, easy to navigate web version available free to registered users.

The guide includes access to over 120 resources such as training materials, planning templates, case studies and “how-to’s” that are presented in the context of the original CDC content.  A process for conducting After-Action Reviews (AAR) – in high demand for public health officials tasked with training and responding to emergencies is also available.

“We’re pleased that so many public health practitioners and first responders took us up on the offer to show them a superior method for capturing and delivering standard operating procedures.” stated David Austin, President of Contextware. “What really surprises us is the number of commercial enterprises that have subscribed to the guide – in particular their strong interest for taking the After-Action Review process and applying it to a commercial environment.”

Content is updated monthly and pushed to subscribers. A fee-based enterprise offering of the guide allows organizations to configure their own version of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to include their own templates, content and resources.  To learn more or to subscribe visit the guide section of Contextware’s website. http://www.contextware.com/solution/emergency_response_a ...
