AWSL was up 17.9% on Monday and it was reacting to news on Friday that AWSL is going to be a big rooftop solar player in Ontario, Canada. AWSL announced a deal with Cushman & Wakefield to secure locations in Ontario to install rooftop solar  installations.

The case for roof top solar installation is building for both commercial and residential installations.  Smart players in the industry are backing small aggressive companies like AWSL.

Cash is flowing into the industry because big players like Fed-Ex are buying into rooftop solar. Fed- Ex announced the largest rooftop solar installation in the US in  July.

In Europe, industry giants like Ferrari have installed rooftop solar.  Europe loves solar and the trend for more large installations will only accelerate.

Rooftop solar is also catching on in Australia.  The Crown Plaza Hotel has installed  a large rooftop solar installation in Alice Springs.
