The Center for Building Community at Abilene Christian University today launched a re-vamped website that will allow readers to better follow news and events about middle cities across America.
“We are proud to launch the new Midcitiesmonitor.com today,” said Gary McCaleb, Vice President of Abilene Christian University and Executive Director of the Center for Building Community. “The new site comes equipped with social media tools like Facebook and Twitter. Now there are multiple ways of reading about what’s going on in America’s middle cities.”
“This is the only clearing house for news about mid-sized cities anywhere in the media,” added Kasey S. Pipes, Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Building Community. “By logging onto the website and signing up for our list, readers will automatically receive information each weekday about news and events in cities with populations above 1,000 and below 100,000.”
The new website is www.midcitiesmonitor.com.
