Baltimore, MD – Mary Jagim, RN, BSN, CEN, FAEN, Client Engagement Manager at Intelligent InSites, was selected by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) to present an overview of the latest developments in the use of location-tracking technologies at the 2009 ENA Annual Conference, held October 7 through October 10, 2009 in Baltimore, MD.
In the session, entitled Harnessing the Technology of Real-Time Locating Systems in the Emergency Department, Jagim highlights how real-time locating systems (RTLS) brings technology and functionality to the emergency department to improve patient flow, patient safety, staff safety, resource management, disaster preparedness, work load capacity, and work flow analysis. An overview of the various types of technology and hardware available will be presented so participants can understand the options available and the dramatic benefits that can by derived by deploying such a solution.
