Stonefire Grill is launching its newest location in Pasadena with a unique fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Southern California. On Saturday, October 17, those making reservations may enjoy complimentary meals from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; however, all tips will be donated to the nonprofit that is dedicated to finding a cure for the most common life-threatening genetic diseases among American youth. Reservations are required and limited to parties of four; call Meredith McWade at 818-991-4054 ext. 0.
“We are proud to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their research. It is very dear to our hearts because my nephew Brendan lives with the disease,” said Stonefire Grill founder and owner, Mary Harrigan, who owns the restaurants with her sister Maureen. “It is a disease that has affected my own family and there is exciting research toward a cure. We hope our guests give generously to help in the fight against cystic fibrosis.”
Recently hailed by the “CBS Evening News” for its successful approach to family style dining, Stonefire Grill will open its latest location in the Hastings Ranch section of the city (473 North Rosemead Blvd). Heathcote & Associates oversaw the transformation of the site that used to be a Baker’s Square and West End Design Group of Encino oversaw the indoor dining space and patio.
Stonefire Grills are known for their expansive, value-oriented menu of high-quality American fare. Items include mesquite grilled tri-tip, barbecue and lemon-garlic chicken, baby-back ribs, and a wide assortment of salads, pizzas and pastas as well as a dizzying array of desserts including a huge brick of homemade carrot cake to round out the menu. Menu items are priced from $4.99 to $19.99; complete family-style dinners start at $19.99. A selection of well-priced wine and beer also is available.
