SOVA Boutique Aesthetic style is founded on such fashion as that of Egyptian Queens such as Nefertiti, (Nefertari was the Great Royal Wife of the Egyptian pharaoh Ramses the Great) and Cleopatra (Cleopatra VII Philopator, Queen of Egypt).
The ancient Egyptians loved ornamentation, and all forms of jewellery, including necklaces, rings, anklets and bracelets were popular fashion accessories.
Designed, crafted and worn with great thought and care, jewellery was valued not only for its beauty and precious metals, but also for the magical and spiritual protection it was thought to give the wearer.
Women were adorned with jewellery and whilst the dresses of their day were not made in the shape forms of different designers of today, the skill at which they embellished their clothing to satisfy their religious belief and their vanity was pretty ingenious.
SOVA boutique utilizes Swarovski crystals which allows us to incorporate a theme of jewelled dresses, as these stones are beautiful, sparkling and gives a royal like look.
Craft sewing these wonderous sparkling Swarovski stones by hand is time consuming, but the effect is worth it, as the quality and finish is there for all to see.
While fashions of ancient Egypt may well be thousands of years old, age has not stopped modern day fashion inspired by ancient Egypt clothing.
