Product Award: Most Innovative
PETOSKEY, MI On September 28th, at the Symposium Distinction Awards, sponsored by Facility Care Magazine and the Healthcare Facilities Symposium, the Most Innovative Product award went to Cygnus for its newest wall mounted EMR workstation, the Bay View 2842. The new wall mounted workstations are completely customizable and can feature beveled inlays, rounded tops and sleek hardware.
The award banquet held in Chicago, Illinois, honors design teams and individuals who have made a profound contribution to the healthcare design industry. In addition, it recognizes the best and most innovative new products exhibited at the Symposium.
Cygnus responded to the health care industry push towards more “furniture feel” environments. The new Bay View Collection features unique and customizable panel design elements that help to compliment the environment of the facility.
The judges for the awards were Marc Budaus from HKS, Inc, Gary Collins, Associate Principal with Anshen + Allen Architects, Amy Douma of Hammel, Green + Abrahamson, Rebecca Hathaway with HMC Architects and Tom Trenolone from HDR.
