Born out of Great Hotels Organisation (GHO), the fourth-largest hotel sales and marketing consortia worldwide (source: Hotels 25/06/09), the core function of evolution (http://www.evolutiondistribution.com) is sophisticated reservation technology called the Demand Manager. The platform, built entirely from scratch by GHO’s team of creative technology experts, brings a fresh approach to today’s e-distribution landscape by offering multiple connections through one central portal.
evolution offers a range of products and services designed to redefine the way transactions occur in the hotel technology sector. evolution’s suite of tools includes Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Internet Distribution Systems (IDS), a range of hotel booking engines and e-marketing services including web design and traffic generation. Other features include the widest range of direct connections available through one platform including Sabre, Worldspan and Galileo (available in 2010) as well as important IDS channels such as Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking.com and hotel.de. The system also boasts integrated channel manager functionalities and a sophisticated image and rich media distribution tool.
