The product, dubbed MS e-Archiver, enables businesses of all sizes, private or public, to safeguard against future litigation risks, effectively scale and optimize the Exchange server storage infrastructure, and improve simple day-to-day employee e-mail records and access management. The MS e-Archiver provides high-performance virtual storage space in 11 different capacities, ranging from 150GB to 6TB. The appliance provides users with permanence, security and the ability to audit, meeting all regulatory compliances. Utilizing stubbing technology, MS e-Archiver allows message content — including attachments ¬— to be saved in an archive database while leaving behind a stub in the body of the e-mail. Stubbing reduces the size of the Exchange server by up to 90 percent. The e-Archiver supports Exchange Server 2000, 20003 and 2007.
