Service Care Solutions, one of the leading recruitment agencies specialising in social work and substance misuse recruitment, have successfully registered with the Care Quality Commission. This is the latest milestone in Service Care Solutions ongoing development and highlights SCSs commitment to the supply of quality staff into the social care field.
The Care Quality Commission is the new independent regulator of health and social care in England. Their aim is to make sure the best levels of care are provided for everyone, whether that’s in hospital, in care homes, in people’s own homes, or elsewhere.
Responsible for the regulation of health and adult social care services within the NHS, local authorities, private companies or voluntary organisations, the Care Quality Commission has a duty to make sure that registered providers continue to meet essential, common quality standards after registration.
Specialist recruitment in this field has its own unique requirements, the most important of which is to ensure that all staff supplied are suitable to work with vulnerable clients. Being awarded the CQC registration means that clients and candidates can both be assured of the high quality of SCSs recruitment provision. It will also increase the number of roles that they are able to supply staff to, in both the statutory and non-statutory sectors, as well as increasing the number of vacancies that will be available.
Richard Freye, Service Care Solutions, Managing Director, commented “Our successful CQC registration was vital in allowing us to re-register with the NHS PASA framework. Our entry is now on the new approved list which was recently released. This is great for Service Care Solutions, the candidates and our clients as it allows us to supply nurses.
